kristin - mom is trying to put a magnet on the dishwasher

kristin - see, the thing is that the appliances are not really steel

kristin - they're aluminum

kristin - and stainless steel is like the "color"

kristin - so, no magnets for mom

kristin - and she was PISSED

Eric - HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

kristin - i told her to try & stick it to the stove

kristin - she's all "i already did"

kristin - and then later i went up, and she was in there, and i told her to try again

kristin - "i already did"

kristin - she wantsa put her butterfly magnet up so bad

Eric - buttefly magnet

kristin - and then i said something about how i had assumed it would be no magnets b/c i remember in that book (i dunno about the butterfly) the nanny diaries she says something about how they have to scotch tape the kids' artwork to the stainless fridge

kristin - and i mention this to her

kristin - and she's like YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS/????/ AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME????

kristin - and then dad said "yeah it's the color, not really made of steel"

kristin - she's like MY FAMILY DOESN'T TELL ME THESE THINGS

kristin - it was awesome

kristin - i was laughing so hard

Eric - i'll be she didnt' enjoy that

Eric - see if you can polarize the fridge to allow for magnets

Eric - hook it up to a battery and then wrap that wiring around the whole fridge ala electro magnet

Eric - you'd probably need a car battery though

Eric - would it evenwork on Aluminum?
