kristin - i used a pattern for a size 10, but my cutting & sewing aren't what you would call "even close to precise"

kristin - b/c there is a 5/8" seam allowance

kristin - and i was thinking that i could do a 3/8" allowance for the back .5

kristin - yeah, it's cut, but the seam allowance doesn't come (haha i almost wrote cum) into play until you sew

kristin - so i could still make that adjustment

kristin - the side zip might end up being a sort of back/side zip, but that's okay

kristin - i'd really like to be able to wear it.

Eric - or could you do like two strips/stripes down teh sides?

kristin - you mean like w/ xtra fabric?

kristin - i fear anything that involves straying from the pattern.

kristin - but i think that doing 1/4" less in the seams all the way along the back would do it

kristin - because there are 4 seams total and that = an extra 1"
